Strategy
Overview: Basic Endor Operations deck, using the objective to quickly get Ominous Rumors on the table to add to your drains in space. Activation is good, by turn two you can activate at least nine force. Fast and strong, characters and starships have low deploy costs and there are enough of them in the deck so that you don’t have to draw for several turns to get what you need to control your locations. Average destiny is low, but there are enough high destiny used interrupts that destiny tracking can alleviate the problem. Short-range Fighters provides for some force retrieval.
First Turn: Before you activate pull Carida with Mobilization Points and Back Door with Conduct Your Search. Use the objective to pull Ominous Rumors and deploy it to Endor. Draw up the rest of your force pile.
Second Turn: Concentrate on controlling sites before systems, it will prevent Ominous Rumors from being cancelled and the force drains at the systems are low without the bonus from Ominous Rumors.
Mid-Game: Make sure that your forces are strong enough to withstand a beatdown and hold some reinforcements in your hand. Ghhhk is good here. Now might be a good time to retrieve, if you wait too long you may not have enough enough force to pay for Aim High or you may lose TIEs from battles, decreasing the force you can retrieve. Imperial Decree should keep your force loss to a minimum.
End-Game: Unless you suspect one more big battle from your opponent, spread and drain in space. If you didn’t use Ghhhk earlier, or were able to retrieve it, you can spread out thin without too much fear.
Notes: Kir Kanos is good at quick beatdown battles, team him with some other characters and his Force Pike, then when his power is no longer needed don’t pay his upkeep, sending him and his Force Pike to your used pile and stacking destinies of 3 and 4 right after each other, perfect for a lightsaber attack. Weapon Levitation is to get back the Force Pike if you have another copy of Kanos in your hand, allowing you to deploy him at one location, battle, send him to the used pile, get back the Force Pike, then repeat the whole process over again. The rest of the card choices should be easy to understand. Thanks for reading and please rate this deck and let me know what you think
Re: You're right bountyhunter6, Dreaded Imp Fleet would be awesome, but I don't have it. If I did it would have been in the design to begin with, cancelling drains is way too much fun to pass up! And for the Tempest Scouts: I feel it is too much of an effort for little reward to use Tempest Scouts to try and put Establish Secrect Base on table, getting out the third site takes too long or too many card slots.
