Introduction

After seeing two TTO decks at a Classic tournament, I felt like whipping this deck up quickly for some fun games.

Notes

  • '(into hand)' group (Jerjerrod, Death Star II, Mob. Points combo) counted in the 60.
  • Original-era (V): Black 2 (V) (VS1); Emergency Deployment (V) x2 (VS2); Blizzard 2 (V) (VS4); Bossk (V), Mist Hunter (V), Hound's Tooth (V) (VS5).
  • Posted 'Tallon Roll combo' dested Dark Maneuvers & Tallon Roll; 'Control combo' Control & Set For Stun; 'Twi'lek' Twi'lek Advisor; 'Endor: Docking Bay' Endor: Landing Platform (Docking Bay).
  • Posted 'Scythe 2' dested Scythe 3: no Scythe 2 card exists, and the deck pairs each Saber/Scythe ship with its matching pilot (Fel/Saber 1, Phennir/Saber 2, Mianda x2/Scythe 1 x2), leaving Lieutenant Hebsly, whose matching ship is Scythe 3.

Strategy

Until it gets a helper, building the DSII is pretty much a fun deck. I start off with Endor Ops because about 85% of decks are using Strike Planning, and getting force choked is not fun.

Strategy:

First action, use Mob combo to pull Gall from your reserve. If you feel you need to, pull Endor shield as well. Deploy the DSII. If they suspend Mob Points, unsuspend it ASAP with a fighter and pilot, so you can dump it for Desperate Counter, which you will use to pull IAO combo and Combat Response. If you have enough, deploy Jerjerrod to either the Bunker or the DSII:DB and begin setting up the DSII.

When the DSII is operational, move it to Gall. Have your ground forces take the Spaceport DB to add to TTO. If you are confident enough in your space forces, you can try to hold Endor as well. Pretty simple, and hopefully you will do enough damage agains the opponent.

Card Choices

Endor Shield: Against decks that set up space quickly, use this to help prevent them from setting up a drain of 5. Especially against MBO decks, this can be quite helpful.

Tallon Roll Combo: I've critiscized others about using this with the DSII, but I've realized this can be a nice surprise at other systems.

Again, this is more for my amusement than winning tournaments. Any suggestions would be wonderful.
