Introduction

I am playing in my first tournament in 5 yrs this Saturday. I am bringing two Hoth decks to do battle. This one is a much needed update of my old Echo Base Regeneration. Thanks for all the advice on all my decks!

Strategy

1st turn- Activate, search for Dodonna, check for (and deploy) A New Secret Base. Get two Echo sites out.

2nd turn- Use Dodonna to grab Gospic, who grabs Lajae. Use ANSB to get the Echo and EBO, deploy and active EBO.

From here on out, you basically use ANSB to grab systems and then dump a ship/pilot there as fast as possible. Try to have some space backups (i.e. Out of Nowheres, Hyper Escapes, Rebel Barriers) in case a space beatdown is threatened.

There are some power characters who should be able to beatdown worthy when combined. Battle Order is not a worry due to Force Generation, typically.

Remember, the opponent will not generate Force from Endor. Strike Force will help your massive EBO drains not be messed with.

EDIT- Tyranus, thanks for the advice! I have seen people try to march into Echo Base, and if they spread out to cancel EBO I pounce (I can pull Mad Chewie with Dodonna, after all) and if they move in a massive force I will DB transit outta there! I almost want them to come into EB, since I have the hit squad capable of defending myself.

Yes, the only reason that I used Lajae was because he was cheaper =) I also wanted to use Leia w/ gun (since I don't have Rebel Princess) so Willard couldn't pull her.
