Introduction
This deck aims to win through enhanced drains, overwhelming power in battles, and direct damage largely granted through bounty hunter weaponry.
Decklist
Strategy
First off, I want to pass along my thanks to all the recent Black Sun decks that have popped up along here (Challenger, Dark Elf, Icy, Binary). They have all inspired me and the deck above is an amalgamation of their various ideas.
When I saw Tatoo (V), I knew I wanted to wanted to try out some super bounty hunters (with Maliss (V) out). This is my first attempt.
First turn you want to get out your Coruscant DB. Pay to download JP, and then get the AC. Move over Xizor, flip, and then back him up with Greedo.
From there, you want to take full advantage of the objective's abilities. Use your recycling to track cards and to know what to draw up. The only flip conditions work well in this battle heavy deck. They may try to come to you to kill the Prince, or they could send Luke out to play. In either case, attack back! I include some WMAOP so you can still fish for effects if you are having trouble staying flipped.
You'll want to use the objective/interrupts to get out Scum and First Strike. This only helps in battles, and the suicide effect of Oota, retrieving 3 cards should outlast any opponent. If the opponent avoids you, you have drain/damage potential. You can get the Cantina for a good drain site with LLL. The objective pings for up to 2 and Vigos help off Coruscant. Fighters Coming In was added since I foolishly had Mosep/Gailid in beforehand. You can put both DBs on Coruscant to gets drains of 2 at each. I had to change SE Coruscant to Ep1 so I had a battleground system.
CARD CHOICES
Iggy with gun is too good to not use, even if he may limit Iggy (V)'s usefulness.
I did not go overboard on "hit" weapons to take full advantage of Tatoo (V).
Interrupts are focused on the hunters. Oota and Through w/ You are run at 3 and 2, so if one is grabbed you can still abuse the other one. You can easily track high, low, or middling destinies once flipped, so I don't need an excessive amount of red.
Weapon is to recycle any weapons for a quick bit of retrieval, or to disarm someone saber draining.
The Individual ships take fuller advantage of the AO, and allow anyone to pilot them. In a pinch, Vigos or Danz, can take to Coruscant's space if you are using matching pilots elsewhere. I included SRF combo to dig out ships, but you could swap it for Comb Response if you wanted to. I'd rather rely on tracking and being able to recycle my ship puller.
Disarmed was a suggestion to include... how fun would it be to disarm the opponent with a droid like EPP 4LOM or EPP Iggy, who can't be battled?
EDIT
This deck has gone through numerous changes. Challenger's comments were to the first version of it, which looks somewhat like this current version, the main difference was running matching weapons, which I have since cut.
