Strategy

This deck was inspired by a discussion over at the PC forums posted by a bored statistics student. Here's the URL if you want to check it out: http://www.swccgpc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2936

This deck should only be played if you really want to blow up the Death Star turn 1. It doesn't really have an end-game, and decks which don't rely on Imperials or Imperial Starships will kill this deck easily. Also, it's immediately dead in the water if they occupy the DB on the first turn.

The deck is in classic so you don't have to deal with the grabber shield or non-Imperial Dark Jedi. It also prevents Walkers from pulling Vader turn 1.

Assuming they haven't occupied Yavin yet, here's how the deck works:

If you have a Nar Shaddaa Wind Chimes, play it during your opponent's turn. It makes things easier to have both Droid Merchants, and NSWC is unique.

At the beginning of your turn, pull the Generals, and if you have another copy of NSWC (and don't have both Droid Merchants) play it.

Activate your five force

Use the Objective to pull Massassi Headquarters. Deploy Rieekan there. Use him to pull the <>Swamp

Deploy a Droid Merchant to the DB, if you have one. Depending on the situation, you might want to deploy a character to the Swamp. If you have another Droid Merchant, definitely do it.

If MBO flips now, pull the Death Star and deploy it.

Deploy R2-D2(V) from reserve deck for free to the Docking Bay. If you have a Droid Merchant out, use it to activate a force.

Play How Did We Get Into This Mess? You get a new hand of the same size as the old one.

Finish flipping, getting the Death Star out, etc. by cycling with HDWGITM.

At an opportune time (this takes some judgement, and I'm not perfect at it) play Spaceport Speeders. You should activate 8-10 force with it. Use Wokling to grab one of your copies of DWTE, and hope they haven't been activated. Play it on the Death Star. This is an investment for the endgame.

When you have a Y-wing and Fly Casual in hand, and the Death Star on table, deploy the Y-wing to the Death Star. Play Advance Preparation(V) at some point after that to get the necessary cards out.

When making the Attack run, the destiny in the deck is high enough that the Y-wing permanent pilot should be able to blow it away. 14 force loss on turn 1 is pretty hard to deal with.

I hope I explained that well enough.

Oola, LSJK, Lando Calrissian, Scoundrel and the Gold Squadron Y-Wings are in there as an investment for the endgame.

Things I'd like to get into this deck:

-A way to get another site out (I'm thinking Rhomas(V) -> Kirdo III -> <>Desert)

-A couple of Tunnel Visions. This deck has a habit of activating useful cards.

Tell me what you think. (beyond the fact that this is silly/crazy/etc., since I already know that)
