Introduction

I got tired of all this fancy-schmany dueling OOPing, so I went back down to the basics: Hard-core beatdows! I?m saving all that dueling stuff for Hunt Down. BHBM is Bring Him Before Me, and NOTHING is going to get in my way as Vader brings Luke before Him. Some cool V-5 cards added. (I know it?s not tournament legal yet, so don?t rate me poorly because of THAT! Again: sorry for the question marks. You know the story, right?)

P.S. Don't ask me what the title means; I have no clue.

The published list has 68 cards.

Strategy

This is my latest take on BHBM, completely redone to its former glory! First turn, pull Dannik Jerriko and Back Door. Activate. Get DS2 db. I don?t recommend deploying anything. Emperor Palpatine is going to come out of your deck when it?s appropriate. Remember what was in your Reserve Deck? Hopefully draw into Maul, Vader(or Vader-puller), or Reactor Terminal. Second turn, pull either Spaceport to your opponent?s planet or get the Endor db. If your opponent is ready to be attacked, do so. Otherwise, wait, draw into Maul, Vader, Reactor Terminal. Next turn, get Spaceport/Coruscant db. Deploy Reactor Terminal. If he STILL hasn?t done ANYTHING, deploy cards. Next turn, if he hasn?t come to you, drain, draft unnecessary cards back into deck with Reactor Terminal, drop something for tracking if you can spare it. Vader takes the scrubs, Maul takes the Jedi. Dannik OOPs the characters. Very nice. Let?s talk about stacking cards. Deploy DS2 Emperor from Reserve Deck; grab Force Lightning. Don?t be afraid to use the Lost gametext (fry somebody big with your tracking!); you have a backup Emperor, remember. However, unless your opponent hits him, try to make him stick around until you?re out of Force Lightnings, then feel free to lose him. Yes, destiny is bad, that is why you should also utilize Force Lightning used, to hit people. Try to deploy him to a juicy drain at opponent?s planet; otherwise, stick him at the Back Door. Maul plays a key role in your hunt of the Jedi. Darth Maul, Young Apprentice kills them in battle, immune to Clash Of Sabers. Darth Maul duels them with his gametext, ignoring all other characters (pretty much, at least!). Besides Luke, Vader can take on all Jedi (though his specialty is scrub-choking, courtesy a la tracking). Maul takes on all Jedi; as well as Luke! Lose a force to duel them (with two tracked Ommni Box, did I mention Ommni Box are your trackers? Try to track two at a time, with a fair distance between them). 4-LOM cancels either Jedi?s immunity, or their permanent weapons. Either way, you kill them. Actually, 4-LOM is great against anyone, especially if you initiate battle against an EPP. IG-88 can easily capture a Jedi combined with a used Force Lightning. The weaker characters, I already explained, are choked and Dannik OOPed, though Dannik can also OOP Jedi. Okay?where are all their characters??? If there?s only a few left, he?s compelled to deploy them instead of getting drained out. Beatdown=stack= crossing of Luke. A couple explanations?Ommni Box is the thing. Track while you?re screwing up opponent?s tracking. Easily recyclable, it?s a 5. Matchups:

HB: Hope he isn?t playing Luke. Hope he?s playing EBO or Mains so you can fight his ground.

RTP: Blast R2 to a million pieces if he?s not protecting him. Dannik OOPs Leia. Bested at their own game : ). But seriously, be careful to protect Vader, Maul, and Sidious from any nasty OOPing.

TIGIH: Outfight him; let him make the first move. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, two important characters, will be no more. It?s quite simple?TIGIH is the perfect example of how to employ the strategy section.

QMC: No, I don?t have MM combo, that would REALLY mess him up! Grab Path. Don?t let him deploy CC Celebration (has to occupy two bgs), don?t let him flip (has to control two bgs). Kill. Everyone OOPs.

Profit: Don?t start anyone?you want to jump on HIM, not the other way around! Completely dominate Tatooine. Place Han OOP?whoops!

WYS: Darth Maul is a BANE. Choke and OOP their pitiful smugglers, Ommni Box them so their tracked destiny for Fallen Portal isn?t there. Grab Edge.

MWYHL: Grab Edge. If training Luke, deploy Vader IMMEDIATELY so he starts losing a bunch of force. CHYBC. As a matter of fact, start draining as much as you can as soon as possible. I calculated the most you can drain a turn (all pieces into place) is 7. Kill him before he flips, because once he flips, you?re doomed.

DBO: Swarm Dantooine! Deploy +2 is inconsequential!

Combat: Oh my, OOP Jedi?drained at his own sites! How embarrassing!

THGG: Make stacking 4 on Credits impossible. You know how.

LU(V): Hmm. Luke?s not gonna be at a battleground anytime soon, is he? : )

Okay, that was the 'special' strategy. The rest; just make sure Luke gets brought before him, and then takes his father?s place. If he evades his destiny, he loses 3 force a turn.
