Introduction

Black Sun has grown in power since Xizor pretended to die (and Guri, too). Now, Vengeance Of The Dark Prince will be exacted as the Agents Of Black Sun (the elite ones who were out doing stuff when the HQ got blown up) rush forth with all their weapons and weapon-helpers! This can fairly easily be modified for Classic Format (cut Aurra and her gun, the Boba?s and his gun, and switch to the other starting effect). Apology for question marks.

The published list has 68 cards.

First Turn: Get COR db, move to flip, draw for Barrier/Stunning. Second turn get another db, blah blah. AOBS doesn?t make a good turn-by-turn. You can understand much about this deck by card explanations, so here goes. First of all, with Desijilic and Maliss, almost all your characters are defense value+2 and forfeit+4. Therefore, just one SHOULD satisfy all attrition/battle damage you take from a battle. Also with Desijilic, forfeit ?2 and top card of Reserve Deck lost when you hit someone with a non-permanent weapon is good. Now for card types. First, Characters: 4-LOM With Concussion Rifle: Simple enough. Blank someone?s text. Aurra Sing: If you look at the top cards of your Reserve Deck and you see something high, make a Jedi power=0 (or just cancel his immunity)! Also her power and ability 4 always are handy. Bane Malar: Steal Han?s, Chewie?s, or Lando?s power and gametext. This guy isn?t the greatest, but he can come in handy. Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter x3: Add two destiny. His rifle is okay. Bossk (V): Good gametext, since you get to look at the top cards of your reserve deck, take someone out with his Mortar Gun! Bossk With Mortar Gun: Instead of taking someone out, capture someone. Dengar (V): Good text, capture almost anyone with his Riot Gun! Dengar With Blaster Carbine: Shoot twice. Djas Puhr (V): Blaster Rifle goes bang. Guri: If someone tries to kill Xizor, come down with HER (if droids can be called him/her). Also Power 6. IG-88 (V): Pick a card from your force pile- take your pick! It?s not that hard to capture someone! With Desijilic and Maliss, he?s forfeit 11! (If he has a captive, defense value 9) IG-88 With Riot Gun: Capture someone, add a destiny. Snoova: Capture someone, Power 6. It?s not hard to capture someone with his Vibro-Ax, high destiny, and Power 6 (7 with the Ax). Zuckuss: He has his Snare Rifle and reacting ability, and also making Chewie forfeit=0 can come in handy.

Next for the interrupts: Hidden Weapons: Works great with the top cards of your Reserve Deck known. Human Shield x3: You HAVE noticed how much capturing potential this deck has, right? Imperial Artillery x2: Just great with the blasters. Imperial Barrier x2: Evasion, if he grabs this he can?t grab Stunning. Jabba?s Through With You x4: Add a destiny, or get a blaster to someone who?s weapon got Used with Inconsequential. Stunning Leader x2: Evasion, if he grabs this he can?t grab Barrier. This can actually also be pretty funny sometimes- although your opponent won?t be laughing when you?re Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, Guri, 4-LOM, and Snoova are all ganged up on his Chewie! Well, maybe not all of them, and also unlikely, but it could happen! Twi?lek Advisor x3: Get Inconsequential Losses, an amazing card in this deck! Also destiny 5. Wounded Warrior x3: When you hit someone with anything you?ve got, make them power=0 and can?t use their ability towards drawing battle destiny. Can you say ?Take that!??

Effects are obvious, as are weapons. Dbs are chosen for highest cost for opponent to move about in. So, have you seen what this deck does? All your characters come down and SMACK him with their weapons, and big attrition, and you send a couple weapons off to used pile for your own. Or if that doesn?t cover, just use one weapon for forfeit 3, and the matching carrier has forfeit of at LEAST 7. Your lowest forfeit value is 7! Also you have high defense values, so it will be hard for him to hit your guys. But since your characters are few, maybe you don?t want to lose even one to attrition or battle damage. That?s cool- play Human Shield! You capture so many people with this deck it?s not funny! So you see the point? Wipe out his characters, lose next to none of yours. This deck is made for tracking, although it?s high destiny, too, so you should hit everyone you want. Look at the cards in your force pile, DRAW for what you want! If Black Sun is this powerful, everyone needs to watch out! Matchups:

RTP: Capture Leia.

DBO: Get to Dantooine before he does.

MWYHL: Early damage, early damage, early damage. Once he flips, your only chance will be capturing his beatdown characters.

HB: Get creamed, I reckon.

HB/EBO: Invade Hoth totally and completely. Kill the Generals.

RST: Scouts must die. As must Solo and Madine.

TIGIH: Luke must die. 4-LOM can rob his text, or BFBH can come and break his immunity (or shoot and cancel his immunity), or Aurra can take aim and cancel his immunity, or he can be shot/captured with a tracked Artillery.

WYS: Smuggler-killing can be quite fun. Guess what you?re going to take over- the Cantina! EPP Dengar can shoot a patrol craft or two.

Senate: Go fight in there and attrition the Senators away! As I said in my BHBM deck, I can?t stand just letting the Senators sit there, so go kill them! Kill them dead!

THGG, Master: Totally take over the Junkyard.

Combat: Jedi are meant to be captured. Or killed.

Profit: Oooh, which two aliens should we pick to start? : ) EPP Dengar and Bossk are good picks because if you don?t start EPPs, you can?t use Rack (V) and will have to Jabba?s Through for their weapons. After that, Tatooine must become yours.

QMC: Cloud City= must be invaded.

LU(V): Invade Hoth. Probably the death of you, but do it anyway. If you haven?t noticed, my style is totally about invading. Even when it kills me. EPP Dengar can shoot a speeder or two.

MBO: Kill the Rebel Techs and take over Yavin 4 so he can?t flip.

AITC: Jawas should be easy to kill. Even if their forfeit is amped with Siestas, you can always just shoot/capture them. Zuckuss can make one of ?em forfeit=0.
