R5-D4 (Arfive-Defour) (PC Errata) is a Light Character (Droid) from A New Hope.
Card Text
While aboard any starship, adds 1 to power and maneuver. During your control phase, if aboard your starship damaged by an ion cannon, restores armor/maneuver and hyperspeed.
Lore
Cheap astromech droid commonly referred to as 'Red.' Purposely blew his motivator to prevent splitting up R2-D2 and C-3PO on Tatooine. Poor navigator but skilled mechanic.
Joke
The lore says he blew his motivator on purpose, to keep R2-D2 and C-3PO together. In Star Wars it just blows, and Luke tells his uncle "This R2 unit has a bad motivator."[1] And as a "skilled mechanic", he could fix himself later. On the cards, R5-D4 adds 1 to power aboard a starship, while R2-D2, the droid he stepped aside for, adds 2 aboard a starfighter. See Jokes.
Rulings
