Introduction
Okay, I've seen lately ALOT of the bloody red baron flying around in decks, but tell me, is my baron any better?
Decklist
Strategy
I usually start with Fondor, Prepared Defenses, Mobilization Points, Something Special Planned For Them, and Combat Response. Hehe...
The best Tie Pulling Network would have to be Commander Brandei and DS-18-14. Not likely to have early in the game however...but alot of fun to watch! (It's just great to see ALL of Saber Squadron out in two turns!)
The best combination in this deck would have to be the Chimaera, Thrawn, Fel, and Saber 1. Three battle destiny (even a possible Watch Your Back!) and add one (four if all of Saber Squadron is there), and BOOM. I usually draw about a 15 destiny with just those four cards alone.
The above combination usually doesn't happen very often...but I chose only the best tie fighters and their pilots to guard the star destroyers. The destroyers I chose work very well with heavy turbolaser batteries, with the Judicator getting the turbolaser batteries to target fighters.
Commander Gherant was necessary to pull Executor sites for Flagship...though I have won two or three times without even having this effect in my hand. It's just something fun to pull off.
I know you are asking "Why even have Vader and Arica?". I just like these guys...and you never know when people will decide to actually board the Executor.
This is the first darkside deck I have had in a long time. I used to just hate the darkside, but realized that I had to have one to even think about entering tournaments. Any feedback would be much appreciated... Thank you for your time!
