Advanced Rulebook 1.7.1 cover

The Players Committee Advanced Rulebook 1.7.1 is the Players Committee consolidated rules book for late Virtual Original play. Charles Sonnenburg signed it as Rules Advocate.[1] The PDF is dated 6 July 2007. The committee hosted it at swccgpc.com by 24 October 2007.[1] The PC download library listed it as "Advanced Rulebook - Legal July 29th 2007" (added 12 July 2007), with the note "Please discard any rules documents prior to the Advanced Rulebook."[2]

The book states that it is the official rulebook for Star Wars CCG and replaces all previous rulebooks and rulings.[1] It does not introduce the Mission card type; that change is in Players Committee Advanced Rulebook 2.0.

On 6 July 2009 and 4 September 2009 the Players Committee rules page linked Resources/AR/AR1.7.1.pdf as the rules document then in force.[3][4] The PDF at that path matches the July 2007 file.[5]

A later identical copy is hosted at karcianki.pl.[6]

Prior documents

Until this book, Original Virtual play used the Decipher Rulebook 2.0, Decipher Glossary 2.0, Decipher Glossary Supplement (29 January 2002), and the January 2003 Players Committee Rules Supplement.

Current-rulings sheets

The committee posted short Appendix F / identifying-cards sheets after the July 2007 book, including ARF0709 (17 September 2007) and ARF0803 (16 March 2008).[7][8]
