MaryGail Coffee was a Florida Decipher event organizer who, with Chris Coffee, ran the Decipher events at a Kissimmee, Florida gaming convention on 22–24 March 2002, including the first Star Wars CCG Open sanctioned by the Players Committee.[1] The two described the events on Radio Free Decipher Broadcast 119 (15 March 2002).
Events[edit]
At the Kissimmee convention she ran Smackdown 2002, a Lord of the Rings tournament on Sunday 24 March meant to be Florida's first large tournament for that game, and a Mines of Moria sealed event on the Friday. The convention also asked for an Austin Powers demo tournament.[2] She also described an earlier large sealed-deck demo at Channelside in Tampa that drew 42 players.[3]
