Introduction
After seeing ECF's LU(V) re-build, I thought it was time to try out a few tricks of my own with the ever-popular objective. You know it, you've seen it... you gotta LU(V) it.
Decklist
The post names no Defensive Shields.

Strategy
I've been toying with a few ideas for LU(V) since V6 came out (and a couple of these ideas were born even before that!), and thought I'd give it a shot. Actually a pretty standard LU(V)... to a point. A few of the techs in here are rather... unique. For one thing, the Mon Mothma/Rebel Tech/Draw Their Fire trick is an interesting twist for a deck that usually doesn't allow room for such tricks. EBO is also a twist that people don't expect from LU(V) too often, just because it's trying to squeeze into an already card-intensive deck. Then there's the optimization of Frostbite (V) with Chewie's chicken-walker, which just demands that I also play Chewie, Han, and a Life Debt... which automatically demands the Falcon for space support. Oh yeah, speaking of Han... have you noticed the number of battle destiny cancellers in here? Han, Wedge, Artoo, and Bright Hope can all cancel battle destinies as needed... and seeing as how Artoo is a destiny 6 that can cycle in and out of the deck at will, I thought it prudent to throw in two of him.
As for how it plays... by nature, I tend to over-play my decks, which can be absolutely devastating to me with LU(V). So, the first thing I'm going to be trying to do is play conservatively, pulling stuff only when necessary with the flipside, hardly drawing anything at all after the first couple of turns, only activating as much as I need to get through a turn, etc. So odds are several of the techs listed above just won't be seen... ANSB may just get played to pull the Med Lab, Chewie & company may not see the light of day, Artoo might just sit in the deck and look pretty. But knowing me, I'll still do the Rebel Tech trick just to piss people off. >;)
Anyways, just spread the unique Rogues out on Hoth, drain away and do direct damage, retrieve whatever I lose... same ol' same ol'.
That pretty much covers all of the *unique touches* to the deck, except for maybe a few of the specific cards below;
Insurrection - besides pulling the docking bay right off the bat, it also adds to the forfeit of 8 of my characters, and keeps Elis Helrot from becoming *too* much of a nuisance.
Desperate Tactics - pulled by Nick Of Time, destiny 4 cycler, kills immunity. 'nuff said.
OOC combo - a cycling 5... wait a sec! A cycling 5 in LU(V)?! How'd I fit that in?! Obviously POOP some cards, but also in here for some anti-holo/djarik action (gotta love cancelling a ghhhk after you've just caused 30 in overflow).
Launching The Assault - a drain +1 at the system, and the possibility of an early pull on Home One. And it's a destinty 4 t'boot.
I guess that covers it. Enjoy!
