Strategy[edit]
It's the night before a tourney, the TD has just informed us that V6 is going to be legal in this event, and neither of us has decks built. This is what we came up with for dark side...
To keep it simple as possible... this is a NASTY beats deck. Pull your two JP sites, use Audience Chamber to pull Jabba, use Jabba's Influence and Power Of The Hutt to pull all of your "defensive" characters (ie the guys who sit at the JP sites and drain), and just drop beat squads to your opponent. With all the bounty hunters (except Fett) getting a power +2 bonus from Influence (V), you've got some awesome powerhouses available... throw in the fact that they're also getting boosted by Tattoo (V), and they're just plain MEAN. Most of the rest of the characters are some nice combos or meta choices.
Lando (V), Watto, and Watto's Chance Cube - use Lando (V) to guarantee a succesful Chance Cube roll. With Influence (V) pulling Watto on a regular basis, and Watto pulling Chance Cube as soon as soon as possible, you've got some nasty destiny adders going on.
Snoova w/ Ax - this big mother-****** has an almost guaranteed capture on almost every mid-level character (and most high-level characters) you go up against... that's 9 power, folks!
Mara... pullable?! That's right, Influence (V) pulls everybody's favorite spy!
With Scum retrieving and Ability*3 (V) getting characters back in your hand, you've got some awesome longevity. Propaganda is also nice for the random drain cancel or whatever. You've got power characters, you've got decent drains, you've got a space force that can annoy your opponent for a few turns... what more could you want?
Win/loss record so far:
TRM - 1/0
LSC - 4/1
Profit - 1/1 (loss was timed game, 34 to 31 right after he played 3x Harvest, and flipped to free Han)
HB - 0/2 (no starships in the deck at this time)
THGG - 0/1
Enjoy!
