Watto is a Dark Character (Alien) from Tatooine.
Card Text
May 'fly' (landspeed = 2). Once during each of your turns, may take Watto's Chance Cube into hand from Reserve Deck; reshuffle.
Lore
Toydarian junk dealer. Skilled gambler. Won Shmi and Anakin in a Podrace bet with Gardulla the Hutt. Jedi mind tricks don’t work on him, only money.
Strategy
By Joe Helfrich[1]
When you take your first glance at the Skywalkers' owner, you may notice that the game text box is a little bare! No piloting, no warrior, and only ability two. Deploy 2 and forfeit 4 are good for a Dark Side alien, destiny 3 is a great thing for a character, and landspeed of 2 doesn't hurt around the deserts of Tatooine, but what's this gambler's real strength?
It's his ability to grab Watto's Chance Cube. That Used Interrupt is a risky one, but it is a Used battle destiny adder (if you "play your cards right") with a destiny of 5 – it partners Watto well. And with his landspeed letting him change sites quickly, he might be able to swing a battle in your favor – as long as your opponent doesn't go Changing The Odds.
