Deck info

Introduction

QMC with Generals. I've taken a lot of ideas you guys have given me, and plugged a few holes (&#!@ Lateral Damage!) that I found out during some games.

The published list has 61 cards.

Strategy

Basic strat: Cause damage through drains, and direct damage through the Admiral's Order. Retrieve with Celebration. Simple enough for you?

Extended strat:

Opponent's turn 1. Pull Dodonna and Rieekan with Strike Planning.

Turn 1. Play Rieekan with some backup to the Guest Quarters. Pull the Echo Command Center, and play Dodonna there. Pull a site with the objective. Draw up.

Turn 2. Pull Gospic with Dodonna, and Leia with Rieekan. Gospic can pull Balanced Attack (which pulls Ackbar and your generals) and Wedge, RSL (check his lore; he's a commander!). Pull a site with the objective. Draw up.

Turn 3. Pull the AO with Dodonna, pull Han with Rieekan, pull a card with Gospic, pull Launching The Assault with Wokling, pull Home One with Launching The Assault, pull a site with your objective. See where this is going yet?

Keep pulling sites until they're all out, then play Home One, the AO, and the Mon Cals (they'll all deploy free to Home One with the AO on table). Spread your Generals out at your sites, pull Celebration with KTEOF, and just cause a ton of damage.

You may be looking at the character list and scratching your head, so here's a quick explanation: You've Got A Lot Of Guts Coming Here makes all your ability = 3 rebels power and forfeit +2 on Cloud City. I've put an * next to all of the ability = 3 rebels in the decklist. As you can see, there's ten of them... while a few of them are going to be in space, they'll still get a power/forfeit +1 bonus from Guts... and an extra forfeit +1 is always nice.

For the guys on the ground, that means you've got a lot more power and forfeit for a fairly low cost. With 2-1B keeping them recyling, and Celebration retrieving the ones you lose, they'll keep popping up for more all the time.

I'm not going to post specific card coices or matchups right now. If you're wondering about a card in the deck or how this deck would do against something else, feel free to ask me in the discussion area, and I'll put up an answer for you here. Thanks for looking!
