Defensive Shield

A Defensive Shield is a Star Wars CCG card type introduced in Reflections III: A Collector's Bounty (31 October 2001).[1] Cards with the Gungan Warrior Shield icon are Defensive Shields. They are played from a pile under a Starting Effect and do not count against the 60-card deck. Replica titles of earlier Effects are a different card type; the unique and restricted rule still ties them together.
