Promotional Foils are 28 foil reprints of earlier commons, uncommons, and two rares (Qui-Gon Jinn With Lightsaber and Darth Maul With Lightsaber). Decipher gave them to tournament winners and a random participant, as retailer/distributor incentives, as wrapper redemptions, and as DecipherCon / championship prizes. They are not Reflections pack foils. A foil of a title on this list can be authentic even if it is not on the Reflections, Reflections II, Reflections III, or Endor foil lists.[1]
Tournament directors typically awarded one card to the winner and one to a random participant. Each title was in the program for about two months; a new card rotated in and an old one rotated out, usually alternating Light and Dark so one of each was available. After the program ended, leftover copies were still used as prize support without the original schedule.[1]
