Easter eggs

Easter eggs on Decipher Star Wars CCG cards are hidden jokes, call-outs, and extra images that have no effect on play. Yellow circles on the photographs are the Collecting Encyclopedia's callouts. Decipher posted an official list through Jabba's Palace Limited; later finds are collector notes.

Premiere

A New Hope Limited

	Bespin Motors Void Spider THX 1138	"THX 1138" is the title of George Lucas's first major film. THX is also Lucas's theatre sound system, and Luke told the Imperial officer they were transferring Chewie from cellblock 1138.
	Dark Waters	Ewok doll floating in the dark waters.
	Defel	Hidden on the uniform shoulders are the letters "WYOU" and "XERB". WYOU was Wolfman Jack's first radio station (circa 1960) in Virginia; Decipher is in that broadcast area. XERB is the station he was on later in California, where George Lucas heard him and put him in American Graffiti.
	Death Star Trench	"The Art of Great Games" is one of Decipher's trademarks and motto.
	Hyperwave Scan	The X's and O's create a tic-tac-toe game.
	Luke's Hunting Rifle	The Campbell's soup can reads "Cream of Womprat". Joseph Campbell, who influenced Lucas's mythology, is an additional egg.
	M-HYD Binary Droid	"(C) 11111001100 DECIPHER, INC." — 11111001100 is 1996 in binary.
	Retract The Bridge	The lights spell VERTIGO (what Luke and Leia felt, and an Alfred Hitchcock reference).
	Scanner Techs	Hidden letters "WBN", call letters of the radio station from Radioland Murders.
	Sensor Panel	Light and Dark card backs are images of SWCCG cards. "ANEWHOPE" can be found in the digital mileage readout.
	Tzizvvt	Alien icon has multiple eyes.
	Undercover	"Good Evening" written vertically, with Hitchcock's profile shadow — the opening of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
	Yavin 4: Briefing Room	Extra people were added: Matt Mariani (former Decipher Marketing Director); Ronald Reagan; Bob Hudsol; Warren Holland (Decipher Chairman and CEO). To the right of the viewscreen, Jerry Darcy (Decipher Star Wars design team) stands in the shadows.
	You're All Clear Kid!	253 in the center bottom of the image is Decipher's street address (253 Granby Street).

Hoth Limited

	Hoth expansion display box	The Mon Calamari Star Cruisers were not available to the Rebellion until mid-way through Return of the Jedi.
	Crash Landing	"J. G. Ballard" is printed on the side of the snowspeeder. James Graham Ballard wrote Crash in 1973.
	Death Mark	In the upper left of the image, in the Effect icon, there is a small skull hiding.
	Debris Zone	One of the pieces of landing shrapnel is a tiny snowman.
	Deflector Shield Generators	Hidden in the struts underneath the globe reads "B. Fuller" (Buckminster Fuller; geodesic structures).
	Evacuation Control	Image of Decipher's home page is displayed in the overhead monitor.
	Frozen Dinner	A knife, fork and spoon are hidden in the ice.
	FX-7 (Effex-Seven)	Tiny fish are swimming in the bacta tank.
	Furry Fury	Hanging from Han's hip is a bullwhip from Indiana Jones.
	Furry Fury	Lore egg: The Mourning Bride.
	Major Bren Derlin	At the Mos Eisley Cantina, "Everyone knows his name." John Ratzenberger (Bren Derlin) also played Cliff Clavin on Cheers.
	Responsibility Of Command	Battleship appears in the middle of the image.
	Snowtrooper	Hidden in the card type icon is a snowflake instead of the Imperial symbol.
	Tauntaun Bones	The rack of bones looks like a xylophone; percussion sticks are in the snow.
	Tauntaun Handler	"Wilbur" is written into the horns (caretaker of Mr. Ed).
	WED-1016 'Techie' Droid	Copyright date is in binary numbers.
	You Have Failed Me For The Last Time	Diagram of the Heimlich maneuver on a choking victim in the video screen.

Dagobah Limited

	4-LOM	The message "4 love (heart) of $" is tattooed on the droid's knuckles. 4-LOM was said to be an acronym for "for love of money".
	Astromech Translator	The words "My F.P.C. shows an impending failure of the antennae orientation unit" can be seen in the screen. This is the first time HAL lies.
	At Peace	There's a peace sign hiding in the logo.
	Han's Toolkit	There is a Cloud City flow pack inside the toolkit.
	He Is Not Ready	A Chia Pet is sitting on Yoda's back shelf.
	Imbalance	The Interrupt and Dagobah symbols are tilted at a 45° angle.
	Landing Claw	The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy identity has been superimposed on the ship's background.
	Lost In Space	There is a hidden image of Robot in the Effect symbol.
	Rogue Asteroid	It may look like an asteroid, but it's a potato. Potatoes were used as asteroid props in filming.
	Smuggler's Blues	Card title and lore are a play on Glenn Frey's song of the same name.
	Visored Vision	Copyright says "Blues Bros." Chewie and Han in dark glasses, as in The Blues Brothers.

Cloud City Limited

	Bionic Hand	The word $6,000,000 is etched in the wrist flap (The Six Million Dollar Man).
	Cloud City Sabacc	Transamerica building hidden in the background.

	Dismantle On Sight	The Nazi crate from Indiana Jones is hidden in the back garbage pile.

	Old Pirates	Blast marks in the title bar become skull and crossbones.
	Sonic Bombardment	The letters THX are superimposed in the background.
	Tibanna Gas Miner	Back glass panel: images of a mining ax, shovel and lantern.
	We're The Bait	Fishhook hidden in the Effect icon.
	Weather Vane	The rooster weather vane hangs upside down in the right shadows.
	Swing-And-A-Miss	Baseball lore.
	Leia Of Alderaan	Helen of Troy lore.

Jabba's Palace Limited

	Cane Adiss	The state of Virginia (home of Decipher Headquarters) replaces one of his neck spots.

	Ree-Yees	Three eyes in the alien icon.
	Skull	Crossbones are etched into the title bar.
	Someone Who Loves You	A heart is in the top of the lore paint chip.

Decipher never officially posted easter eggs after Jabba's Palace. The later-set rows above are collector notes gathered in Encyclopedia 3.2.
