If opponent just initiated a Force drain at a non-shielded planet location, deploy on that location. Your characters, vehicles and starships may deploy here regardless of presence and location deployment restrictions. (Immune to Control.)
Lore
Adventurous pilot. Boasts to Jabba that he has traveled to every uncharted planet in the galaxy. Has been hired by the Empire to keep an eye out for Rebel activity.
Rulings
- This does not circumvent restrictions listed on an Objective (even if the Objective references limiting deployment at certain locations).[1]
- This does not circumvent text on a card that says it only deploys if a certain Objective on table.
- This does not circumvent rules or text that certain cards cannot exist at certain locations (e.g. no starfighters at Cantina or Endor: Dense Forest).
- This does not circumvent deployment restriction text that is entirely unrelated to locations (e.g. Emperor's Orders or Revenge Of The Sith).
- Allows cards to deploy regardless of presence or Force icons.
- Allows cards to deploy to Dagobah or Ahch-To.
- Allows cards to deploy regardless of their own game text saying they can only deploy to certain locations.
- Allows cards to deploy regardless of game text on other cards (except Objectives) saying certain cards may not deploy to certain locations.
- If deployed on a non-shielded location (e.g. Hoth: Defensive Perimeter) and then that location becomes shielded later, Cane Adiss remains there and will allow cards to deploy there regardless of the shield.
