For the card, see Utinni!.

Utinni! is a Players Committee game format that restricts characters to Jawas and thematically appropriate Droids, Vehicles, Starships and Weapons. It was the favorite of the game types that Devon Hubner and John Sciuto played in a weekly game during the Covid-19 pandemic.[1]

On GEMP it is named Utinni! (Jawas Only) (code utinni). Its pool covers Decipher set ids 1–14, premium ids 101–112, Virtual Set ids 200–223, the Virtual Premium Set (301), Dream Cards (401) and Playtesting (501). The definition bans 1,501 card printings, generated by a script, and every card with the Dark Jedi Master, First Order, Jedi Master, Sith, Permanent Weapon, Sidious or Skywalker icon.[2][3]

Deck size

Default deck size on GEMP 60 cards

The GEMP format definition sets no deck size, so GEMP uses its default of 60 cards.[2][4]

Tenets

The PC page lists tenets including:[1]

  • Locations must have both light and dark icons.
  • Only Jawas are permitted as characters. Alien Mob and Alien Rabble are permitted because they can become Jawas.
  • No ships with permanent pilots, no capital starships, and no combat vehicles or Ewok vehicles. Only Creature and Transport vehicles are allowed.
  • No Droids with permanent weapons, and Droids must not be immune to restraining bolt by having presence.
