Card text: When you win a battle at a Tatooine location card, deploy at that location. Target a character not on Tatooine. When the target arrives, it has obtained the mask. While on Tatooine, the target's power and forfeit are increased by 2, and it also gains immunity to attrition less than 3.[1]
Lore: Sand People wear special masks to recover moisture scattered in Tatooine's hot, unpleasant environment. They protect the body by removing blowing sand and dispersing excess heat.[1]
Comparison with the English printing: The Japanese grants immunity to attrition less than 3; the English grants immunity to attrition of exactly 3. The Japanese says to target a character not on Tatooine, without the English restriction “one of your characters.” The Japanese uses location card where the English specifies a site. The Japanese lore describes moisture in the environment, rather than the English “exhaled moisture.”[1][2]
