The Duelist was Wizards of the Coast's trading-card-game magazine. It ran from a 1993 issue 0 through issue 41 in September 1999, from Renton, Washington.[1] It profiled Star Wars CCG alongside Star Trek and other licensed games.[1]

Allen Varney reviewed Premiere as A Forced Effort in issue 9 (February 1996).[2] Lester Smith and Cory Herndon wrote later set features. Varney and Herndon also filed game-news columns that named SWCCG expansions.[3]
