Inside the Industry in The Duelist #12 (September 1996, page 74) is a Game News & Updates column. Its Star Wars CCG item names A New Hope and Hoth.[1]
The SWCCG item sits among other Decipher and licensed-game notices on the same page, and points to the A New Hope review on page 77.
Star Wars® CCG™ (Decipher): The first expansion, A New Hope, appeared in late June; for the occasion, Decipher held a lavish party for reviewers aboard a 135-foot topsail schooner. (See review on p. 77.) Hoth, the first of three 162-card expansions based on The Empire Strikes Back, appears in late September (15-card boosters, $3). Decipher is preparing a national tournament structure for Star Wars.
