Card pool

The guide's rules:[1]

  • It can be held as a "consolation event" during larger tournaments.
  • Each player brings exactly the same decks, including Defensive Shields, that they played in the main event. This "helps ensure the legitimacy or playability" of the decks.
  • Pairings are made as in a normal Swiss event, but at the start of every game each player is randomly assigned a deck from another player at the event. Decks are not assigned based on the opponent.
  • A player never plays their own deck, and never plays the same deck twice. Players hold on to their own decks between games.
  • Players are encouraged to shout questions across the room to their deck's owner, such as "how many ships are in this deck".

History

The guide lists The Bith Shuffle under "Alternate Tournament Formats" with team events.[1] No event in this format is recorded on this wiki.
