Card table fill (October 2026)

Build notes. The Destiny and Game text cells of the card tables were filled from each linked card page's {{Card}} fields (destiny=, game_text=), following redirects. Objective rows take the 0-side or 7-side text that matches the row. Only blank cells were filled. Script: vset-fill/fill.py (Datacard Grok); rerun it after card pages change.

Missing data. These rows stay blank:

Marginal cuts. Style-guide fixes to the existing text (old, then new):

  • == Sources == → == External links ==
  • The hub Date prefers the first subset: Virtual Set 8.1 Scoundrels ('''May 2012'''; exact day unknown; PC site carried 8.1 announcement/theme posts in April 2012; definitely out by '''29 June 2012''' per Rogue4/8.2 announce wording).<ref → The hub Date is that of the first subset, Virtual Set 8.1 Scoundrels ('''May 2012''').<ref
  • Later subsets: 8.2 Agents For Hire (20 September 2012); 8.3 A Wretched Hive (March 2013 window; Category One 19 March 2013 implies not yet released that day; primary PC day still missing). → Later subsets: 8.2 Agents For Hire (20 September 2012) and 8.3 A Wretched Hive (March 2013).

Infobox image (October 2026)

Build notes (2026-10-21): the infobox now uses File:Set-VB8.1-announcement-banner.jpg. It is the Scoundrels 8.1 banner from the 2012 starwarsccg.org home-page slideshow. Wayback shows it there on 20 April, 10 May and 27 May 2012, linked to the 14 April 2012 announcement post. The green File:Set-VB8-logo.jpg is the cover banner of the 8.1 release PDF. It matches the 8.2 and 8.3 cover images, so it stays on Scoundrels (Virtual Block 8) and the Main Page tile.

Where else I looked, with no other Block 8 art found:

  • VirtualBlock8_1.pdf: page 1 holds only the green cover banner; pages 2–8 are card slips.
  • res.starwarsccg.org (Wayback index): only cardlists/images/v8-title.jpg, plain black text "VIRTUAL BLOCK VIII" (same as the unused File:Set-VB8-title.jpg).
  • starwarsccg.org 2012–2013 captures: banners scoundrel3.jpg (8.1), agents_3.jpg and agents_82.jpg (8.2); the 8.1 downloads page and the 17 April 2012 Gemme's Blog post on 8.1 have no art.
  • Forum: "Scoundrels 8.1" (t=46511) has no images and points to t=46446, which no longer exists.
  • Holotable data (Images-HT/legacy): title images for Virtual Blocks 1–6 only. GEMP: no legacy set icons.
  • Bill's Google Drive: nothing for Scoundrels or Virtual Block 8. Comlink Cursor (talk) 11:30, 21 October 2026 (UTC)

Set infobox, printed slips, table standard (2026-10-22)

Converted to Template:Set infobox (portrait matching Blocks 1–7, symbol , code VB8 · GEMP set 601). The Scoundrels announcement banner stays cited from the existing 8.1 refs. Tables match Virtual Block 1. Slip crops are 300 DPI from three official PDFs. VirtualBlock8_1.pdf official text 11 May 2012; Preserved copy 20261020174544, sha256 70ab6f454edea76398f930066fa36c622098a54b7c8497f84adaaf752a97f315. Dual-face Infiltration / Unlikely Allies, Contract Killers / Feared Throughout The Galaxy, and Wookiee Slaving Operation / Indentured To The Empire each count once. Kyle Katarn (AI), Supreme Chancellor Valorum (V) (AI), Errant Venture (AI), and Jango Fett, The Assassin (AI) share the non-AI overlay. Overlay wiki titles use the Holotable original. Unused overlay-shield slips (00-There Is Another, 01-Death Star II, p3-66-Binders, p5-111-Kessel Run, p8-48-Undercover, p8-49-Sometimes I Amaze Even Myself) stay off the card list.
