Missing data

  • Special Premiere cases sent to Lucasfilm. Bill remembers Decipher sending special cases of Premiere to Lucasfilm a couple of times. The only documented item is the 2001 Executive Gift Set (Encyclopedia 3.2 p. 109; 3.0 p. 75). An eBay listing quoted on the forum (p=887392) says the sets were for executives "within Lucasfilms, Decipher, and even George Lucas himself!" Earlier presentation cases remain undocumented.
  • Jackets, mousepads, Decipher-branded dice, Celebration-exclusive merch beyond the 1998 Worlds trip: still no destable object. The Decipher Customizable Card Group cap, Endor booster display header and 1999 Worlds glass trophy are dested from the private Star Wars CCG Facebook group. Their posters are Ivan Kanner, Steven Krueger and Ray Bordier. Dice search hits were ordinary table dice on card piles. Insider pp. 64–65 says the game has no flashy multi-sided dice / pewter Death Star replicas / overarching gameboard — those are not dested as existing merch. Decipher Store Wayback captures of /store/black_beauties and /store/categories are ~2 KB JavaScript shells, not merch catalogs.
  • Players Committee-era trophies, playmats and pins beyond those listed: starwarsccg.org news posts were not reachable at the time. The Encyclopedia 3.2 (p. 3) says PC promotional items are catalogued on starwarsccg.org.
  • Encyclopedia p. 190 poker chip is dested as a File; its event and print run are unrecorded. The p. 169 "twelfth day of Christmas" fold-out is dested (Talaga names it 1997; printed line "On the twelfth day of Christmas Decipher sent to me").
  • TheForce.Net donation article now has Preserved copy 20121001051034 (opened 15 October 2026). Later CDX 200s (20241217005835, 20261010073714, 20261015164911) remain unread.
  • Facebook group starwarsccg is private (needs an account). Dest of group memorabilia objects (cap, 1999 trophy, Endor header, Insider scan) is per 15 October 2026 instruction to dest the photos. Poster credit on each File. Full-group dump not done. Personal non-SWCCG photos still out. Wayback of facebook.com/photo/?fbid= pages is the login wall. Embed captures 20261015220949 (Kanner cap), 20261015221024 (Bordier trophy) and 20261015221056 (Krueger Endor) were opened. They show Facebook's "This Facebook post is no longer available" shell, so they are not Preserved copies of the photos.
  • Andy Talaga's own YouTube channel. BoardMatt later collecting videos were checked via auto-captions. Videos 50ZU0MBMMio and tkOSRJl0vHw are misprints/oversized (already on Aftermarket / Oversized). Videos oTMfJi6o_zE and 2ZXDE7cO4YM are uncut sheets (Aftermarket). Video hYFUvhQYR3M covers grading, and N463OiYrCMg is a premium wrap-up (empty character deck boxes already dested). y5AHDbvvv3s and 2ZXDE7cO4YM auto-subs 429. No hats/jackets/mousepads/standees/dice/Celebration in those captions.
  • Jim Colson relics dested as unreleased (PRRkRBHlo-o 39:27); vinyl velcro Death Star / Chewbacca dested in prose (19:42). Gold 5 Squadron shirt dested from speaker-view stills at 2:34 / 2:44 (YouTube 360p only this sitting). Watch-page Wayback 20261015174310; archive.org item youtube-PRRkRBHlo-o uploaded this sitting. Grainy webcam stills of the staff photo, giant Collision, and Chewbacca are dested as Files so they can be cut.
  • Tournament Sheet: the Pirate Pete kit-contents listing names it with the Command Card. Its gallery photos are Guide interior, Rule Systems interior and filled Command Cards — no isolated Tournament Sheet File. FAQ xerox 1 May 1996 dested. Sealed kit packet dested; Pirate Pete product page 404 / Wayback save 523 on 15 October 2026.
  • SWCA item 91371 (Level 1 'A Moment of Triumph' certificate) and the Premiere Darth Vader tournament deck box listing had no opened Wayback capture at the time (live SWCA 520). Fold-over pins and Tournament Time Sheet titles from the licensee catalog were not dested as isolated Files.

Possibly faulty data

  • Card T-shirt back: Encyclopedia 3.2 p. 188 text says the back reads "The Force Is With You". Its own photo (p. 189) and Gregg Keefer's SWCA page read "Never Underestimate the Power of the Force". The article uses the photo/SWCA wording.
  • 1999 SWCCG Finalist shirt count is printed as "approximately 120" in 3.2 and "120?" in 3.0.
  • Executive Gift Set count: "about 250" (Encyclopedia); CategoryOneGames on the forum thought more than 250 were made.
  • Executive Gift Set date: Encyclopedia 3.2 p. 109 says 2001. On the 29 May 2022 BoardMatt video, Matt Manning places a Christmas party in 1997 or 1998; Talaga agrees the first copies went out unsealed at that party. Body keeps 2001 and adds Talaga's party / never-sealed / production-ratio version as "According to Talaga" so it can be cut.
  • Executive Gift Set contents: Encyclopedia reverse-sheet-order vs Talaga production-ratio (1× R1, 2× R2, U1/U2, C1/C2/C3 Stormtrooper/Rebel Trooper). Both dested.
  • Staff Christmas-card year: Talaga says 1998 or 1999 from the people on the legend; no copyright line. Article says 1998 or 1999.
  • Talaga auto-captions say "12th night" / "gave to me"; the printed card (Encyclopedia p. 169 and the video screen-share) reads "twelfth day" / "sent to me". Article uses the printed line.
  • Talaga "fewer than five" Dagobah Limited and Cloud City Limited sell sheets, and that Jim Colson and Julian also lack Dagobah Limited: dested as Talaga's count ("According to").

Marginal cuts

  • The Encyclopedia's card T-shirt photos (p. 189) are illustrations of the layout (the same blank tee with each card), not photos of surviving shirts. Only the Tarkin layout and the back are used.
  • Sales sheets per set (Encyclopedia pp. 110–133), German Queen Games ads (pp. 181–182), Japanese ads.
  • 2002 World Championship $10,000 purse breakdown ($5,000 / $2,500 / $650 ×2 / $300 ×4), TheForce.Net 5 February 2002.
  • 2001 Open Qualifiers: top 8 at each received a trophy (Kyle Heuer, 21 May 2001, Klauser archive mirror).
  • Grainy webcam stills dested as Files (staff Christmas photograph, giant Collision, oversized Chewbacca).
  • Wild Things Games original aftermarket merch (Talaga chapter at 22:01) still not dested as memorabilia; leftover Decipher backstock (trays, uncut sheets) dested in Leftover stock.
  • German Modern Graphics rulebook already on Cancelled German release of SWCCG.
  • Magazine inserts (Leia / Boba / R'kik) already on Oversized cards.
  • Seven Borg / Eight Lukes stills redundant with the fold-out crop.
  • Executive Gift Set box already on the page from Encyclopedia p. 109.
  • Hills Wholesale leftover sealed product dested in Leftover stock; NFC cutting and LOTR Chinese Elrond (end of the same video) still left out.
  • Clip-art sheet right edge is cropped (Japanese ad sits against it on Encyclopedia p. 169).
  • Organizer's Guide scan has a Pirate Pete watermark through the paper; kept with Photo credit.
  • File:Theed Palace Ultra-PRO playmat.jpg: Luke Fritz fbid 10101771674188038 is a top view of a sealed Theed Palace box (post caption: September 2026 sealed-box sale tracker). It was dested as an Ultra-PRO playmat in error. File, thumb and sentence deleted 16 October 2026.

  • 16 October 2026: deleted File:Theed Palace Ultra-PRO playmat.jpg and the Memorabilia thumb/sentence. Luke Fritz fbid 10101771674188038 is a sealed Theed Palace box, not a playmat. Datacard Grok (talk) 09:48, 16 October 2026 (UTC)

Missing data

  • Photographer of the Star Wars Insider #43 player-card portraits is unnamed on the printed pages.
  • A fifth card is cut off on the right edge of p. 65 (Dark Side; printed fragments include AUTO / Explosives / Industry Mine). No player name is readable.
  • Hernandez card game text names Western Oregon University; article body says Oregon. Ankrum card game text names a medical student in St. Paul, Minnesota.
  • Cover barcode reads ISSUE 43; contents page titles the article "DECIPHER: THE THRILL OF VICTORY" at p. 64. Month/year is not printed on pp. 64–65.

1998 Worlds pictures

  • Added Cavalier Hotel postcard, Highsmith 2019 photo, and upright trophy photograph. Datacard Grok (talk) 11:38, 16 October 2026 (UTC)

Build notes

  • 16 October 2026: dested stills of SWCCG memorabilia Jim Colson held up on BoardMatt interviews PRRkRBHlo-o (24 April 2022; watch-page Wayback 20261015174310; IA youtube-PRRkRBHlo-o) and qOOinRpisyg (9 April 2023; watch-page Wayback 20261016115248, opened this pass). Files: vinyl Death Star (20:32), vinyl Chewbacca (20:40; different scene from the Talaga File), Special Edition Dark Side capital-starship vinyl from the Trek interview spotlight at 39:32 (same object as 21:46 in the SW interview; printed title unreadable at 360p), delaminated metal layer (22:53), DecipherCon 2000 promotional-foil sleeve (1:00:09). Gold 5 Squadron shirt was already dested from speaker-view stills at 2:34 / 2:44. archive.org item youtube-qOOinRpisyg is empty. Datacard Grok (talk) Datacard Grok (talk) 12:01, 16 October 2026 (UTC)

Marginal cuts

  • Trek interview (qOOinRpisyg): skipped Beverly Crusher oversized Trek personnel, Patrick Stewart autograph on an oversized Trek location, and a Disney AT-AT popcorn bucket (other-game / non-SWCCG). Destined only the SWCCG Special Edition vinyl Colson named at 39:26.
  • SW interview skipped items: a Masterworks UK-stamp relic comparison (non-Decipher SWCCG relic). Cameron's Corellian Corvette still (same four-foil sleeve Colson holds). Cameron's Rebel/Imperial round pins (Encyclopedia dests better tab-pin photos). Rebel leaders / Gold Squadron signed Y-wing posters (Colson offered to put them to camera at 59:29; frames show his face and Gold 5 shirt, not an isolated poster).
  • 360p StreamYard 4-up (format 18); grainy webcam, same class as the Talaga Collision/Chewbacca stills.

Build notes

  • 16 October 2026: one Gold 5 shirt still, zoomed on the embroidery (File:Jim Colson Gold 5 shirt embroidery.jpg). Portrait File kept but unused on this page. Cavalier Hotel postcard, Highsmith 2019 photo, and trophy-case photo moved off this page; they stay on 1998 Decipher World Championship. Datacard Grok (talk) Datacard Grok (talk) 12:43, 16 October 2026 (UTC)

Marginal cuts

  • 16 October 2026: removed the Endor booster display header thumb and the die-cut-header sentence. The photograph is an opened Endor booster box (retail packaging), dested in landscape on Endor (expansion). Datacard Grok (talk) Datacard Grok (talk) 12:50, 16 October 2026 (UTC)

Lint cleanup, 20 October 2026

  • Article: split seven long sentences and shortened two gallery captions; no prices or claims changed. Added Preserved copies to the Sokol and Tennet Decktech reports (20261008202647, 20261008203411), the SWCA Darth Vader deck box listing (20260307185818) and SWCA items 91371 and 90774 (snapshot 20261021035731, snapshot 20261021035751). The Beezer Bowl copy now points to its Wayback capture (20261013123752). Each capture was opened and checked for the item named in the ref.
  • Talk: reworded flagged bullets above without changing their facts, and pointed the p=887392 link at its topic. Preserved copies for links in this Talk page: forum topic t=54019, which holds post p887392 (snapshot 20261021040352) and SWCA CCG Tournament Backpack (20260517213226). Comlink Cursor (talk) 04:09, 21 October 2026 (UTC)

Skywalker Ranch (21 October 2026)

  • Rewrote the •Skywalker Ranch sentence as a special promotional card made to show Lucasfilm, not a playtest card (Bill, personal communication, 21 October 2026). Cut "In its July 2000 pitch" (the cited sources do not tie the card to that presentation); the prizes/signature-cards sentence now names the July 2000 presentation directly. Link now goes to Playtest cards#Skywalker Ranch.
