Talk:Millennium Falcon (Japanese)
Japanese original printing source audit
Original Japanese source: encyclopedia p. 41, embedded JPEG xref 2036. [1] Image SHA256 a340f126a66cc54684f599732a963d827bbe2066137d5865265b46e596364ed0. The original image is File:Japanese-Premiere-Millennium-Falcon-Encyclopedia32-original.jpg. Printed wraps joined; ASCII digits, Latin letters, +, =, < and > normalized. Unique asterisk tracked separately; Tarkin lore underline retained. Original JPEG remains typography authority. The Japanese lore describes Lando Calrissian losing the sabacc bet and handing the ship to Han Solo, while the original English describes ownership until Han won it. The Japanese calls the docking capability ドッキング能力, while the English says "ship-docking capability." Both printed game texts require a pilot to use power, maneuver or hyperspeed; neither assigns zero to those printed statistics when unpiloted. Printed absence is separate from rule-derived defaults and unknown data. No artist/translator credit is visible. Performer likeness attribution and Japanese GEMP implementation remain unresolved. The November 1998 tournament-language rule is dated context, not evidence of earlier or custom-format mechanics. No new rules or implementation equivalence is claimed.
