Talk:Episode I Closed Environment

Build notes

  • Decklists: a DeckTech deck is listed only when its own post (title, description or strategy) says it was built for this format ("Type II", "type 2", "EP1", "E1", "Episode 1 only", "closed environment"). "No R3" alone, or a deck that only uses Episode I cards, does not qualify. 43 of 470 live DeckTech decks qualify (scan 17 October 2026).
  • Card counts per set come from the PC card JSON (cards with the Episode I icon in sets 11–14, Decipher printings only).
  • Deck pages keep their own Format cell (Premiere - Coruscant, Premiere - Reflections III or Premiere - Original VS1); this list does not change them.

Possibly faulty data

  • Gregory Malysa Senate Podracing Party runs Battle Plan & Draw Their Fire, which has no Episode I icon. Listed as posted.
  • Several decks resolve generic posted names (Sense, Alter, Control, Tatooine, Coruscant, Tusken Raider, Proton Torpedoes, Obi-Wan's Lightsaber) to non-Episode I printings; the posts are for this format, so the Coruscant, Reflections III or Theed Palace printings are likely meant.

Missing data

  • Decipher's format page (www.decipher.com/starwars/tournaments/episodei.html, named on the Reflections III rulesheet) has no Wayback capture found. Prize foil titles and event dates are not sourced.

Marginal cuts

  • Dunya Ertan Invasion (DeckTech 20552, 10 January 2002) says only "its a ep 1 deck". It runs Twi'lek Advisor, Battle Deployment and non-icon Reflections III shields, so it is not listed.
