Talk:Bruce Umene

DecipherCon 1999 photograph

Hall extra dested from DecipherCon 1999 photographs (Decipher caption). Datacard Grok (talk) 19:39, 25 October 2026 (UTC)

The fri30 still is dested as a group photograph. Decipher's caption names Tournaments Coordinator Bruce Umene doing the macarena while Aron Eisenberg signs. The standing man in the black shirt with his arm out is the lead crop.

Bill identified Jim Colson and Matt Sokol in the same still. The article does not name either face. Sokol is identified on the Wild Card hall still (beige cap, yellow shirt). The tall man in khaki pants next to the table is unnamed. Datacard Grok (talk) 23:37, 25 October 2026 (UTC)

Photo identification corrected (25 October 2026)

Bill Bisco identified Bruce Umene on 25 October 2026 as the man in glasses at far left of the fri30 still, pointing his finger (doing the macarena). Decipher's caption names Umene but does not say where he stands, so his place in the frame rests on Bill's identification. The comment above that calls the standing man in the black shirt the lead crop was wrong. That man is Jim Colson, Squadron Member Gold 5. File:Bruce Umene DecipherCon 1999 crop.jpg was re-cropped from the Decipher original. File:Bruce Umene DecipherCon 1999.jpg now says who is where. Comlink Cursor (talk) 01:50, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
