Comments:

100000101 - Thanks for the comments. One thing that the Ewok Catapult does is crash vehicles with Armor. Might be difficult, but it has happened before.

If my opponent doesn't come after me, the Ithorians, Luke's saber and Kazak will add to drains, and I'll make them come off the top of the deck via Graak. I've gone against Dark Deal in the past, it's a really close race that comes down to one turn. Generally if I get a little bit of a faster start on the drain race (and I normally do), then I've got it narrowly.

End Comments:

This is a deck that some old-timer BBS members and I came up with, and we've been tweaking for ages. Many thanks as always to LordMaxx and ZippyDaJedi (John and Ivan)!!!!

Before you start with the Ewok-hate (I was once among you), take a look at the deck and see what it tries to do.

I have a couple of cards that will need to go out for Classic, so once again any suggestions are highly welcome!

Okay, this is a deck of combos:

Superficial Damage - Ewok Spears have a forfeit value of 3, the Catapults already have one of 4, and when they are discarded to satisfy forfeit, they go to the used pile. Great way to recycle a 7! :)

Ewok Spear:

Deploys free on a Spearman and adds 1 to power. Target a character using 1 Force. Both players draw destiny. Target's power or ferocity =0 for remainder of turn if your destiny + Ewok's Power > opponent's destiny.

The Ewok Spearman with a spear is power 2 + the number of LS icons at the site (add in Ithorian + Daughter of Skywalker).

Vine Snake

Ferocity =0 Slither =3 Selective

Habitat: planet Sites (except Hoth). Attacks by attaching to character. X=0. Every move phase draw destiny; each time destiny > ability add 1 to X. Chatacter is power -X (eaten if power = 0).

If you have never seen this happen before, I'm sure that the light is starting to come on. :) I've had Vine Snakes eat Vader, Palpy, Aurra, Mara, and my true highlight of storyline was when a Vine Snake eat Prince Xizor wearing Mandalorian Armor after being hit with an Ewok Spear!

Ewok Spear + I Feel The Conflict:

This is the real kick in the pants. In order to turn Vader - yes it does happen!!! - you need to win battles. To win battles you have to give your opponent a reason to come after you. This is the reason for Kazak, the Ithorians and Graak. Once they come after you you need to win battles. The Ewok Spear can take their largest character and make them a screaming baby for one battle. Usually this (in concert with canceling/adding battle destiny) will get you the win, and the extra card stacked on I Feel The Conflict. With the number of 5's in the deck, the magic number on IFTC is 4, 3 if you can track one of the two 7's.

This is a fun deck, but one that has a chance in a lot of decks. I'd like to add the classic shields cards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
