Introduction
This deck aims to win via complete domination of space by the biggest ships in the Rebel Fleet combined with enhanced drains across the galaxy.
Decklist
Strategy
This is an odd deck that I know is not tourney worthy, but I wanted to try to take a deck that is focused on LS Capital ships as far as it can be taken.
Basically, to set up, you want to get your locations out as quickly as possible, since those MC's cost a bit. Once they are out, you can crank out 18 activation on its own. Use Strike Planning to get General Rieekan put him at the War Room, and then use him to get Lock (or worst case Hoth War Room). From there you will use Lock to get all your planets out. Rieekan can also get the Forest for you to get around Battle Order.
You also should ditch YISYW to get Launching the Assault (or Superficial Damage if you get a good hand) so you can get Home One. With Rieekan/Navander at the War Room, it comes down for at most 7. Afterwards, I suggest moving them aboard so you can minimize a potential beatdown.
Launching the Assualt adds to drains at battleground systems, which should add up quickly. The only stipulation is that you need to have a pilot character, but almost everyone in the deck is one.
Basically, try to get the Admiral's Order out so your capitals are protected if the opponent wants to engage you in space. There are some guns and weapon support cards to protect you even more.
CARD CHOICES
Captain Verrack is not a pilot, but he fits in nicely with the guns.
Red Squadron makes up some support for the Capitals. They are there as a cheap alternative to Mon Cals as you get up your activation.
Qui, Obi, and Lando are your ground forces. If you want, you can use them at the Forest or go on the offensive if your opponent spreads thin.
Corran is an excellent all around character, a pilot, and a spy buster.
Weapons related cards abound with my interrupts. SWM adds destinies, Direct Assault removes immunity to opponent's ships, On Target lets you exclude certain vessels, Power Pivot can zap an ISD's power, and Steady Aim provides bonuses so you can hit things more easily.
Endor- no generation for opponent, most likely
Chandrila- added generation when you have a Mon Cal there
Mon Cal- Mon Cals deploy cheaper and it is needed for generic MCs
Liberty x2- since this one gets sent to Used more often than not, why not get another one out quicker.
Masayana- a capital ship, uber cheap with generic Mon Cals.
The Intruder can go on the Falcon, and is great destiny. The Quad gun can go on the Falcon or any Corvette.
Thanks for reading, and hopefully reviewing!
EDIT
Thanks for the review, Elf! I respectfully disagree with using combo YISYW. What does it do for me asides potentially get limited by Fanfare Def Shield. I prefer non combo so I can ditch it at any time (or keep it to kill Dark Jedi Easier).
