Game Players Network and the Players Committee
On 25 January 2002 Gaeta posted on GPN's news desk that Warren Holland had named the six core Player Advocates and that GPN's offer to support the committee had been accepted.[3]
The same day he appeared on Radio Free Decipher Broadcast 112, having flown in from Denver. He said GPN had volunteered after Decipher's call for Players Committee volunteers, and that its 40 to 50 volunteers would give the committee web space, interviews and support for its tournament formats, a message board for player suggestions, and the web programming for posting virtual-card text on decipher.com.[4] He described Michael Girard as one of GPN's roving tournament reporters and John Arendt, a fellow Coloradan, as one of the most underrated players in the world.[5]
