The rules of Star Wars CCG exist in two layers:
- Decipher rules — what Decipher published for the printed game (1995–2001). No Players Committee modifications.
- Players Committee rules — the current tournament document, the Players Committee Advanced Rulebook.
Rulebooks is the library of original PDFs (archived Decipher files and working copies). Wiki transcriptions of those documents live as their own articles so sections can be linked.

- Decipher Glossary 2.0 — comprehensive rules and rulings as of November 1998
- Decipher Glossary Supplement — official rulings after Glossary 2.0 (updated 29 January 2002; gameplay changes effective 4 February 2002)
- Decipher Comprehensive Rules — one amalgamated Decipher-only document (Rulebook 2.0 + Glossary 2.0 + Glossary Supplement + later Decipher rulesheets). No PC changes.
- Players Committee Advanced Rulebook — wiki form of the PC Advanced Rulebook PDF
How they relate
Decipher's last official rules index listed the Glossary and Glossary Supplement as the documents that answer gameplay questions.[1] It also listed the Version 2.0 rulebook and later expansion rulesheets (Endor through Theed Palace).[1]
The Players Committee Advanced Rulebook is a later document. It replaces previous rulebooks and glossaries for PC play and includes PC rulings and errata.[2] It is not a Decipher publication.
