Introduction

An MBO deck which easily guarantees that it will blow away the Death Star before the attack run even starts. Revised but would like a second round of opinions.

The published list has 62 cards.

Strategy

The really short strategy is to get your sites out, flip, and then blow away the Death Star as quickly as possible. I really don't know what to put for a strategy for this because it seems so obvious to me. You pull Dodanna (and later Mon Mothma) with Strike Planning. Mothma gets your techs and Dodanna gets your ability-2 pilots, including Rhomas, who gets your systems. There are so many Attack run bonuses that I only need some of them to destroy the death star. I regularly get a bonus of +16 including the pilot's ability before even drawing destiny. There is a certain amount of low destiny and reaction to low destiny, so destinies for other things are often hit-or-miss.

There is a some stuff in here that is probably still redundant and/or not used to its full potential. I would like people to tell me what should be replaced with what to use everything to its fullest potential. Thanks in advance.

I added Houjix and Out of Nowhere because every starship has maneuver >3. Plus it has a higher destiny than houjix propper. It's a hit helps in case I can control the system where there are related sites people are draining at. (and most ground decks have a relatively small space force) The houjix part helps in the case of an invasion.

Shewski: You're right that I don't like maintenace cards. I see them as a drain on my resources. Personally I prefer Chewbacca, Protector for that reason. (and he can cancel some of the destroyer droids' weapons which CE can't do because he targets imperials) Also, Commander Evram Lajaie(v) gives all starships astromechs and Red 5(v) can pull R2 also. On the second set of comments: Wow... I never knew the v-R2 was so much cheaper. I cut two of the guns for Goo Nee Tay and Tigran. Do you think I should have Sentry as a shield or an effect? (it's unique after all)

EDIT: I was playing with this deck today and found out that Kryat Dragon Bones(V) and a Bubo absolutely kill the deck. I need suggestions on the best kind of defense in a deck like this against creatures.

LordHoban: I would be happy to play you on CardTable sometime. I don't get enough chances to play anyway. What about this Sunday? You can find me on AOL and Yahoo with the same username as here.

EDIT2: I was thinking about dealing with the bubo and realized the answer was right in front of me. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon have the power (and a destiny) to defend against the bubo. EPP Obi-Wan can also cut it to pieces when you turn on it. I'm divided as to which Qui-gon to put in, though. EPP slices and dices, but Tat. Qui-Gon is some extra alien hate if they invade. (heck, if the emperor's not on table, I could use it in combination with Chewie to cancel Mara Jade's GT and thus immunity.) I also swapped It's A Hit for a Rebel Barrier to provide protection wherever it may be handy while I have it.
