Premiere - Virtual Set 3

Premiere - Virtual Set 3 is a constructed format on GEMP: every Decipher card plus the current Virtual Sets 0–3, with 12 Defensive Shields from later Virtual Sets.[1][2][3]

  • Type: constructed
  • Defined by: Players Committee GEMP
  • Card pool: every Decipher card plus current Virtual Sets 0–3 and the Virtual Premium Set, and 12 later virtual Defensive Shields
  • In use: unknown
  • GEMP: Premiere - Virtual Set 3 (premiere_set3) on both the Players Committee GEMP and play.swccg.com

Card pool

The format allows Decipher set ids 1–14 (Premiere through Theed Palace) and premium ids 101–112, plus current Virtual Sets 0–3 (ids 200–203) and the Virtual Premium Set (id 301).[1][2] The definition sets no deck size, so GEMP uses its default of 60 cards.[1][4]

GEMP also allows 12 cards from later sets, all of them Defensive Shields:[1][3] A Close Race (V), A Useless Gesture, Come Here You Big Coward (V), Crossfire (Endor) (V), Drop! (V), Failure At The Cave (V), Only Jedi Carry That Weapon (V), There Is Another, Thrown Back (V), We'll Let Fate-a Decide, Huh? (V), Yavin Sentry, You've Never Won A Race? (V).

It is not Premiere - Original VS3, the 2002 pool of original Virtual Sets 1–3.

History

The format is in the Players Committee GEMP code and in play.swccg.com with the same definition.[1][5] The Players Committee's 2025 Online Retro Event for Charity used a pool it called "Premiere to Virtual Set 3", printed Decipher cards plus Virtual Sets through Virtual Set 3, on GEMP.[6] The sources on this wiki do not say which GEMP format that event used; see Premiere to Virtual Set 3.
