Introduction

All I ever read about QMC is that it is an evade and drain deck. Did anyone ever consider that it could hold its own against a battle-worthy deck?

  • Original-era (V): Chewbacca (V), Wokling (V) (Virtual Set 3); Flash Of Insight (V) (Virtual Set 5); Princess Leia (V), Lobot (V), Bright Hope (V), Bionic Hand (V), Surreptitious Glance (V) (Virtual Set 6); Yoda (V) (Virtual Set 7).
  • Posted 'Wedge Antilles, Rogue Squadron Leader' dested Wedge Antilles, Red Squadron Leader (no Rogue Squadron Leader card).
  • Original-era printing corrected: Yoda (V) (Virtual Set 7) -> Yoda (V) (Virtual Set 5) (an earlier dest had linked the modern virtual card of the same name).

Strategy

I'm usually flipped by turn 2, and by turn 5 or 6 I'm holding Bespin and two locations very securely for drains and retrieval w/ Cloud City Celebration.

I've got buddy interrupts and situation cards for virtually any battling that could take place on Cloud City, or any where else for that matter. I can take two or three mains anywhere and stomp out. The key to this deck is constant viewing of your force pile. Don't forget to pull from your force pile EVERY turn, including your opponents. This deck is all about timing and careful consideration. An early Flash (v) and Bionic Hand (v) can also help with tracking for interrupts and retrieving lost interrupts.

Most of the time I stay on CC, so Menace Fades and Honor of the Jedi usually enter play very quickly.

Yoda can dish out some damage with this deck due to multiplying destinies, Smoke Screen, and his Gimer Stick to fend off early mobs.

Chewbacca is also a force to not be reckoned with, pulling his own saber, his buddy interrupts, and Han adding a destiny when with his walking carpet.

Any questions, comments, gestures, or faces are appreciated. Lemme know if something is wrong (or right!). Thanks for viewing and commenting!
