Planet Defender Ion Cannon (Errata) is a Light Weapon (Artillery) from Hoth.
Card Text
Deploy on an exterior Rebel Base site. During a battle at related system, may target a capital starship there using 2 Force. Draw destiny. If destiny +3 > armor, all starship weapons aboard target are lost, power = 0 and hyperspeed = 0. See ion weapons; see long-range weapons.

KDY v-150 surface-to-space heavy ion cannon. The most powerful ground-based weapon in the Rebel arsenal. Reserved for strategic installations due to limited supply.

Rulings
- Whether fired during battle or at another time, the target starship is power and hyperspeed = 0 until it leaves play (or until something makes it 'restored to normal').[1]
- Weapons aboard the starship are only lost as a one-time response to the Cannon firing. Weapons can subsequently be deployed on the starship without becoming lost.
