Open (no shields) is a constructed format on GEMP (code open_no_shields). It uses the same card pool as Open but bans every card with the Defensive Shield icon.[1] The card pool is Decipher-printed set ids 1–14 (Premiere through Theed Palace) and premium ids 101–112. It also includes current Virtual Sets 0–27 (ids 200–227) and the Virtual Premium Set (id 301).[1][2]

The GEMP format definition sets no deck size, so GEMP uses its default of 60 cards.[1][3]
