Nick Gibbons
Nick Gibbons won the 1997 Endor Regionals (Great Falls), a qualifier for the 1997 Decipher World Championship.[1]
1997 World Championship statement
"I'm originally from the San Francisco area, however, most of my life I've lived in Montana. I'm currently enrolled at Montana State University at Bozeman, studying Accounting. I'm an accomplished, award-winning pianist. Music and San Francisco sports teams are my first important hobbies (watching the 49ers win). Obviously, the Star Wars trilogy is at the top of my movie list: I also enjoyed The Devil's Advocate, The Usual Suspects, and the recent version of Sabrina, with Harrison Ford. Hopefully I can do well in the Worlds and give the small community of Bozeman some Star Wars CCG respect. The players here are very good and any one of us could have won the Regional. In fact, Tyler Franks, who qualified for the World Finals by winning the Edmonton Open, is from Bozeman."[2]
