Strategy[edit]
This is my attempt at an Ewok deck. It has done fairly well so far. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Especially if you have any ideas to help set up the force drains even faster. Thanks!
In the beginning of the game, you will want to try and set up your drains as fast as possible while denying opponent’s drains with Bargaining Table and The Projection Of a Skywalkers. The opponent will not likely come after you right away (Unless he is playing walkers on endor…). Until he realizes that he must shut down your drains. Kazak and the Ithorians will add the punch to your drains. When and if the opponent decides to come after you, beat him to the ground with the added destinies and the support cards.
<CARD CHOICES>
Endor: Bunker
Allows you to drain for 2 and adds a battle destiny when you initiate battle. This is where I drop my mains if they are not needed elsewhere. Chewie and Solo can be a driving force at this location.
Your Insight Serves You Well
The sole purpose of starting with this card is to pull Honor Of the Jedi When you need it. I usually pull it right at the beginning of the game, just to make sure. Visage of the Emperor can tear this deck apart. Pulling Honor at the beginning of the game against a Hunt Down Deck will give you some protection – For a little while anyway…
Mechanical Failure / Ewok and Roll
Takes care of those pesky walkers…
Ewok Rescue
Allows you to spread out and drain w/o fear of a surprise attack
Don’t Underestimate Our chances
I have won a number of games with this card. With all the added destinies and support interrupts, the unsuspecting opponent will pay dearly for a wrong move. I usually wait for the perfect set up to make sure that it won’t blow up in my face – Which it will, if YOU are the one that is not paying attention…
Ewok Spear
Ahhh… the sight of Vader and Maul crippled to a power of zero by a “Puny Ewok” is like none other…
Landing Claw & Starfighters
Cancel those pesky space drains
