Kibitzing is a constructed Star Wars CCG event format in which players may give and ask for advice during games. Decipher ran it as a non-sanctioned side event on the last day of DecipherCon 2000.[1]

  • Type: constructed
  • Defined by: Decipher (2000)
  • Card pool: the normal constructed pool
  • In use: 2000 (DecipherCon 2000)
  • Also called: Kibitzing Constructed (Decipher's schedule)[2]
  • GEMP: none

Card pool

The format changes table conduct, not deck building. Decipher's event page set no deck restriction.[1]

Decipher described the rules this way: "How many times have you had to bite your tongue watching a game because a player does not deploy enough to draw a battle destiny or forgets to force drain? Well now's your chance to speak out. Scout your opponent's decks, ask the TD for advice, comment on the game next to you, do anything-well almost anything." The page quoted a dictionary definition of kibitz: "To look on and offer unwanted, usually meddlesome advice to others."[1]

History

The only Kibitzing event Decipher listed was on Sunday 8 October 2000 at noon (event #SW142), four games, non-sanctioned.[1][2]
