Card Text
Use 2 Force to deploy on your Star Destroyer. May target a starship using 1 Force. Draw destiny. If destiny +2 > defense value, all starship weapons deployed on target are lost, armor or maneuver = 0 and hyperspeed = 0.
Lore
Fires blasts of ionized energy. Causes massive disruptions in weapon, engine and computer systems aboard a target. Disables starship defenses against tractor beams.

From
A great combo to do with the "Ion Cannon" and the "Turbolaser Battery" is to fire the "Ion Cannon" (preferably at a "Correlian Corvette" filled with passengers) at a capital Starship. Then, if you hit them, fire your "Turbolaser Battery" at the ship. It's near impossible to miss the ship considering it has an armor of 0. If you do this all in one turn the Light side can't do anything about it, which really could be nice if the starship is filled with troublesome characters like Luke, Obi-Wan, etc.

Rulings
- Whether fired during battle or at another time, the target starship is armor/maneuver and hyperspeed = 0 until it leaves play (or until something makes it 'restored to normal').
- Weapons aboard the starship are only lost as a one-time response to the Cannon firing. Weapons can subsequently be deployed on the starship without becoming lost.
