Introduction

It's been a while since I played THGG... hopefully I haven't lost my touch! Uses massive drains and direct damage to hurt your opponent, while Celebrating on Tatooine and drawing multiple destinies for retrieval.

The published list has 62 cards.

Strategy

Very fun deck, and fairly easy to play. Let's do this turn-by-turn:

Opponent's 1st turn: grab Tatooine with your objective.

1st turn: grab Qui-Gon with City Outskirts, grab his stick with Sai'tor, and either move Quiggy to the Junkyard or pull the docking bay... it depends on whether you've got enough Force left to move him.

2nd turn (if Quiggy moved): drain at Junkyard and have your opponent stack a card on CWDF, pull the docking bay, and give Quiggy some backup. (if Quiggy didn't move): drain at Outskirts, play some characters to the docking bay, move Quiggy over.

3rd turn (if Quiggy moved 1st): do the little song-and-dace Junyard drains, play some more backup characters, etc. (if Quiggy didn't move 1st): drain at DB, play some characters to Junkyard, move Quiggy and his entourage to the Junkyard.

4th turn: drain at Junkyard, start spreading your characters out a bit if you're not encountering too much ground resistance. You should have 3 cards on CWDF by now... you'll be flipping next turn, so try to have some senators spread out on your sites.

5th turn: drain at Junkyard, flip, cause direct damage with your flip side, play the system, starships, and Tatooine Celebration.

6th turn +: keep draining and damaging. If your opponent battles you on the ground, have Padawan move to intercept. Try to get as many battle destinies as possible groundside and spaceside (for flipside retrieval purposes). Retrieve with Celebration.

The above turn-by-turn is in a "perfect world" situation, where your opponent would leave you alone and let you do your thing. Keep in mind that you'll have to adjust that playing to allow for beatdown squads, heavy drains, drain cancelling, UC spies, etc.

Card choices:

For Luck(V) - Anti-Colo, as well as giving me a bit of deck cycling and destiny setting. Actually pretty tech, because it encourages your opponent to keep off non-battlegrounds, giving you an opportunity to send in a beatdown.

Master Qui - Immune to You Are Beaten. Having options between this guy and Tat Quiggy are always nice... and if Tat Quiggy isn't working out, you can just do a personna replacement.

Obi, Jedi - Immune to Sniper, and absolutely buff against Maul. Also nice if you don't want to waste Quiggy against LSC.

Sei Taria, Mas Amedda, Chancellor Vallorum - The first two can be pulled with Might Of The Republic, and provide extra activation when with Vallorum. Also, they'll be able to get your foot in the door of the Galactic Senate if your opponent is playing ML,ITL/IWMIL, where Sei and Mas will cause some SERIOUS repercussions!

2-1B - if you can't figure this out, you shouldn't be playing SWCCG.

Artoo - Cancel Lateral Damage. Destiny 6. Recycles himself. 'nuff said.

Path & Revealed - Revealed for anti-UC spies... and why not use the combo card while you're at it? If they're playing D* or CC and aren't harrassing you with UC spies, go ahead and block drains with a wimpy character, then Path away when they try battling.

Alter (Ep1) - I'm not too fond of those political effects.

Secure Route - Drain +2 at Junkyard and Outskirts? Sure, why not? >;)

Let me know via email or on the discussion boards if you'd like to see specific card choices or matchups. Thanks!
