Strategy[edit]
Dueling: Drop Vader, track some destinies, duel. Rinse, repeat. Draining, etc: Palpy and his entourage will move on through the docking bay system, draining and battling wherever needed. Kir Kanos and Myn Kyneugh with sticks are pretty nasty with the tracking you'll be doing. Tracking: Play MM to grab a Visage, play Operational to drop the Visage on top of MM. You've now played 3 cards onto your used pile; a 6, a 7, and a 5. Add insult to injury by playing Omni Box combo on top of that (shuffle their Reserve to screw up THEIR tracking), tracking another 5. Rinse, repeat.
The rest of your stuff is just your basic Classic-format beats. Play smart, time everything right, battle like hell. It's a simple design that does a LOT of damage with battles, duels, and a bit of drains.
- UPDATE***
Response to reviews: slim1256 - Regarding bounty hunters & ships: these are beat-and-forfeit cards, not hold-a-location cards. They drop, take out some characters and cause some overflow, then forfeit away. Regarding BFHI(V): if I had room to start it, I would consider it. HOWEVER, since I don't have the room in starting (no, I'm not pulling IAO, Mob Points, or Crush. Period. End of discussion), I guess I'll just have to be content with what I've got in, eh? Regarding Premiere Vader: Try telling me he's not good when I drop him to Jedi Knight Luke's site, battle, play I Have You Now, and add 1 to each of my destiny draws (which will be a 5, 7, and 6). That's three more overflow... which, quite honestly, could be the difference between a win or a loss. I could toss him and the EPP Vaders out in favor of another Lord Vader and another Choke Vader or two... but he's useful, he's unexpected, and he can win a game if I need him to. Regarding Evader: I'm not really planning on using the Used text on Evader, but rather the Lost text (getting a just-lost Vader back into my deck so I can play him again). Also, Mr. Play-high-destiny-interrupts, the original Evader is a destiny 4 that I can choose not to pull with Crush if I'm REALLY desparate enough to forgo my tracking and try to blind draw for a dueling destiny. So there. Regarding Mara's Stick: yes, she can pull her own stick. Which is why I'm not including 3 copies of it. Mara is, and always will be a beatdown character... it doesn't work quite as well if the saber ain't swingin'. Regarding Palpy & Crew: yes, I suppose I could've worded that a bit better. Pardon me for writing deck strat at 2 in the morning and getting a couple of words off... I'm surprised I did as well as I have with it...
Shewski - Congrats, man! As for the Empy/Palpy crisis... I don't own a Palpy, so I had to play with what I've got. Oh well. >;)
