Drain and retrieve... drain and retrieve.
You can get a first-turn Yoda to the JCC and pull a Control combo to do a turn-2 Tunnel (hopefully pulling out a system), you can most likely get off a first-turn Grand Army to pull the Boss' Chambers (and then the Boss... and the Rep Been... and then Ohta Gunga). This will give you some wicked turn-2 activation (11 by yourself, plus whatever your opponent decides to fork over)... and odds are you'll be able to drop a system or two, and possibly even the Battle Plains second or third turn. Long story short, you won't be hurting for activation.
Now for the draining... with Sei Taria adding to your system drains, Mas Amedda throwing in some direct damage, and Yarua giving you retrieval whenever you drain at a battleground system, that just leaves a decent space force. Three of the starfighters are what I like to call 'trick ships'. Wedge in ship can do some destiny cancelling, Dash in ship can do some power reduction, and Ric in ship can do some attrition reduction... all three of these abilities will help give your starfighters a bit of longevity.
As for the retrieval... Might Of The Republic gives you a one-time retrieval of up to 5, Amidala gives you steady retrieval from your Naboo sites, and Yarua gives you some steady retrieval from your space drains. Not too shabby!
Now then... you also need to hold on to the Battle Plains. Jar Jar, Tarpals, and the Fambaa should be able to do fairly well (that's what the Energy Shield is for!), but Qui-Gon with stick can drop in just in case things get dicey (or rather, to MAKE things get dicey. chop-chop!). Most DS decks don't pack too many weapons that can target vehicled, so you should be free from weapons damage. Their battle destinies here are -1, you're adding a destiny with the Boss, and your cards there are immune to attrition < 4 (thanks to Steady, Steady). Short of an all-out assault, you should be safe.
Enjoy!
