Decklist
Strategy
Starting Setup:
Start the Objective (with your HB indicator set aside), the Rendezvous Point, An Unusual Amount of Fear, Heading for the Medical Frigate, and deploy Squadron Assignments and Strike Planning. 3rd Effect will vary. If you expect big drains (Dark Deal, Senate, JP decks) or early enhanced drains (Hunt Down, Saber Combat), then you might want to start the Menace Fades. Otherwise, go ahead and start We Didn't Hit It, for extra activation (especially if you suspect Tie swarm)
Early Game:
Use strike planning to grab calrissian. Use All Wings to get R2 in Red 5, if you don't have it or Luke already. If possible (and if you aren't playing against a deck like BHBM or AOBS, where you can't afford to have Luke in Space), drop Luke in Red 5 to the R. Point for 2, and move out to Aquaris for one. If you can't put Luke out on turn 1, search for endor instead, as it will be a 2/0 system due to strike planning. Then you could deploy someone else to the R. Point, and move them to endor for free. Once you get Luke out, keep getting the Darklighter Spin combo back to your hand to keep pulling more of your ships. (if you are REAL lucky, this might annoy your opponent enough for them to grab it) Obviously, continue dropping systems.
Later Game:
Once you have your systems out, if your opponent is draining you, go ahead and flip your objective. You should have spread out your ships fairly nicely by now, and will hopefully have most of them out, and with any luck, are holding "bail me out" cards, like Alternatives to Fighting, or Rebel Barrier, the Spiral, or Houjix, etc. You'll eventually want to find your <> Forest, to satisfy Battle Order and establish Menace Fades. You can also use epp qui-gon for the occasional suicide run, to knock out key characters. When they start to probe, try to take down their ships as quickly as possible. You'll be draining for a fair bit, they'll be paying to draw cards, plus they will need to hold onto cards to probe with. If they probe wrong and you can take out their ships, you'll be well on your way to victory. If Luke is still out, you can keep retrieving one card each turn with him. If you lose a ship/pilot combo, and it gets a couple extra cards on top of it, in your lost pile, try to get it back with on the edge. Then use Luke to pull the spin combo, use the spin to pull the ship, use the ship with squadron assignments to pull the pilot, and you're back in business.
Card choices:
<> Forest - Amazing card for HB flip, which I've been using for a very long time now. Epps that are immune to attrition are just not fair. Key card for setting up menace fades, satisfying battle order, flipping back AOBS, flipping back Hunt Down, etc.
Projection of a Skywalker - Good for limiting drains against Lightsaber Combat, since you can't cancel those drains.
Spiral - Great defense against Lateral damage (they damage your ship, and initiate, you react with 5 power and 7 forfeit to bail you out) and ZiMH (mini-falcon = 5 ability, ric + dolphe = 5 ability, wedge + tycho = 5 ability, etc)
I'll Take the Leader - Takes a big bite out of Tie Swarm and bounty hunter ships. Also gives your starfighters even greater immunity to attrition. If your opponent is playing docking bays, you might be able to forfeit a pilot from a ship (to the bacta tank), and then use this card to cause the ship to go to the docking bay when you forfeit it too. Take the character out of the tank, put it on the ship, take off to the system. Sweet.
Legendary Starfighter - Well, you're using the Falcon AND Red 5, right? Okay then.
We Wish to Board at Once - Gets out helpful cards such as POAS, Bacta Tank, Honor of the Jedi, and so on.
We Didn't Hit It - Gets you a little extra activation, but more importantly, great defense against Tie swarm.
Tycho Celchu - Is a rogue squadron pilot, and hence a "wedge buddy". Also a spy, so combined with Corran and Boushh, that gives you 3 people to go cancel visage with. (if you can't get your TT)
It's A Hit! - huge card. cancels limited resources, elis helrot, counter assault, it's worse, and tallon roll. oh yeah, also cancels force drains.
Order to Engage - singlehandedly wins games. Since you're playing HB, they will need the battle order shield early. Since you're playing annoying recyclables (ICBW/It's a Hit are bad news if mirax is out), they will play the grabber shield. Since you use On the Edge with the new Luke and Mirax, they will probably need the code clearance shield. They MIGHT even use the resistance shield to slow down the kessel drain. In any event, once three shields are out, they can't pull fanfare, and OTE will rule their world. chase em around in space to make them suicide themselves on your ships, or lose 3 a turn.
EPP Luke - In certain matches, Luke is useless in space. Against BHBM, you will have to give Luke to vader. so you might as well give him one that isn't as easy to beat in a duel on the DSII. This Luke is also better to put on the ground against AOBS, and is even more help to you against Hunt Down, if you can't seem to get/keep qui-gon or obi on the table.
Corran Horn/Bo Shek - These guys provide extra help against Zuckuss, and the Tatooine Version of Darth Maul.
Enjoy the deck. It's extremely solid. :)
