Use 2 Force to deploy on any Imperial except Vader, Emperor or a stormtrooper. That Imperial is power -2 and its game text is canceled.
Lore
Repercussions for failure are severe in the Imperial military. Many officers prefer demotion to 'alternative' punishment from Darth Vader.

Is a particular Imperials' gametext annoying you? Simply play Demotion on them, and kiss their gametext goodbye!
This card is particularly useful against the Vader/Grand Moff Tarkin combo. Play on Tarkin, and the Dark Side can no longer cancel one of the Light Side's battle destiny draws. Grand Moff Tarkin also becomes power -2 in this instance.
