Decipher.com offered a range of downloadable files for the Star Wars CCG and Decipher's other games: chat software, desktop wallpapers, QuickTime movies, Shockwave contest puzzles and RealAudio and RealMedia webcasts. It also offered printable card lists, rules and tournament forms in PDF and text format. Many of these files survive in the Internet Archive; the Palace chat installers do not.
| Item | Kind | Date | Notes / Preserved copy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Star Wars CCG Palace installers | Chat software (Windows, 68K Mac, Power Mac) | 1997 | Three install options: the Palace client with Decipher files, Decipher "sights and sounds" only, or five separate pieces (client, backgrounds, animations, music, sounds). Served from Decipher's FTP server; no copy is known to survive.[1] |
| Parker Brothers Two-Player Game movie (2player.mov) | QuickTime movie | December 1996 | 32-second promo of Chewbacca and two children playing the Introductory Two-Player Game. Created 6 September 1996 in Adobe Premiere 4.2 (Cinepak 160×120). Part of Future History. Preserved.[2] |
| Future History splash music (swsound.mov) | QuickTime audio | December 1996 | 17-second Star Wars title-theme bed for the Future History splash page (hidden autoplay embed). Audio only; no picture and no Holland voice. Playable: 17-second MP3. Warren Holland's introduction is the signed letter on Future History. Preserved.[3] |
| Hoth Contest wind sound (wind.wav) | WAV audio | October–November 1996 | Background sound for the daily Hoth card-title puzzle contest. Preserved.[4] |
| Dagobah Contest puzzles 1–5 | Shockwave (.dcr) | March 1997 | Five interactive puzzles previewing Dagobah, run 11–19 March 1997. All five preserved. A 2026 HTML recreation is on Decipher.com contests.[5] |
| Young Jedi foil card movies | QuickTime animations | 1999 | Animated previews of Menace of Darth Maul foil cards. Eleven are preserved as GIFs below; Mawhonic's and Teemto Pagalies' podracer movies have only 404 captures.[6] |
| Radio Free Decipher | RealAudio webcast | 1998–2004 | Weekly audio show. About 75 episode files are archived, many cut off at 1 MB; the Star Wars special of 28 December 2001 is preserved in full. The Lord of the Rings TCG Player's Council rehosted surviving episodes on YouTube from Wayback files and from Evan Lorentz's copies.[7] |
| DecipherCon 2000 SWCCG finals webcast | RealMedia (20k and 80k) | 2000 | 20 kb stream of the World Championship Final Confrontation (Yannick Lapointe vs Matt Sokol), 81 minutes. The Lord of the Rings TCG Player's Council converted that same Wayback file to YouTube in February 2022. The 80 kb stream is lost.[8][9] |
| Jedi Knights wallpapers | Desktop wallpaper (JPEG) | 2000–2001 | Jedi Knights logo (1024x768, 800x600, 640x480), "Vader rendered/wireframe" and "Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett". All preserved.[10] |

| Decipher wallpapers ("Fierce", Lord of the Rings TCG and RPG) | Desktop wallpaper (JPEG) | 2002–2003 | 11 designs at 800x600 and 1024x768. All preserved.[12] |
| Card lists, spoiler lists, rules and current rulings | PDF and text | 1996–2005 | Printable files for each SWCCG expansion, plus Young Jedi and Jedi Knights. Most are preserved; the Glossary and the two-player game rules are cut off at 1 MB.[13] |
| Tournament forms | 1999–2003 | Constructed, sealed and junior command cards and the decklist form. Preserved.[14] | |
| Site Flash animations | Flash (.swf) | 1999–2007 | Site intro and banner ads (Austin Powers, Young Jedi). Preserved.[15] |
