Title: Chewbacca

Lore:

A Wookiee smuggler from Kashyyyk. He is over 200 years old. A skilled mechanic and pilot. Jabba has also placed a large bounty on this “walking carpet.” His companions call him “Chewie” or “Fuzzball.”

Card text:

Power +1 if at the same location card as Han. Adds 2 to the power of a starship he pilots. If aboard Millennium Falcon, also adds 1 to maneuver. Vehicles and droids on the same location card as him go to the Used Deck (instead of the Lost Deck) even if they are “hit.”

Comparison with the English printing

The Japanese last sentence names vehicles and droids; the English printed face names “your vehicles, starships and droids.” The Japanese sentence has no word corresponding to “your” and uses 位置カード (location card), whereas the English face says “same site.” For Millennium Falcon, the Japanese text says “aboard”; the English face says “On Millennium Falcon.” The Japanese printing also uses deck terminology where the English printing says Used Pile and Lost Pile. The printed numerical statistics, Alien/Rebel symbols, Pilot symbol and Warrior symbol match the inspected English face.[2] The comparison uses the original English card face.

Statistics

The printed values and symbols are shown above. The face prints an Alien symbol, a Rebel symbol, one Pilot symbol and one Warrior symbol. Its lore identifies a Wookiee smuggler.[2]

Base landspeed is 1 under the character movement rule; this is a rule-derived value, not a printed statistic.[3]

Base defense value is 2, derived from the printed ability of 2 and the absence of armor, under the Glossary defense-value rule.[4]
