Lore
The personnel assigned to protect Echo Base are veteran warriors. Troopers such as Jess Allashane are trained to counter Imperial tactics in cold environments.
Strategy

A specialized trooper, this guy really works well in the winter wonderland of Hoth.
The good points are, he's got better power and better forfeit than your average Rebel Trooper. This makes these guys a better choice for duking
it out in the snow trenches. They've also got a good destiny draw (3), a considerable advantage over the Rebel Trooper's obscene 1 destiny.
The bad points; they are a little more expensive than the Rebel Trooper, but that's nothing that a Hoth: Defensive Perimeter or Echo Base Trooper Officer can't fix, each reducing their deploy cost by -1. There's also the fact that they are kind of specialized; these guys can only deploy on Hoth, and on non-Hoth sites, their power becomes the equivalent of the lowly Rebel Trooper. So, you might not want to go any place else with these guys.
All-in-all, you've got yourself a nicely powered character, that's got a
good destiny and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
